Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everyone who uses VyByN. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Breaking it can result in immediate removal of content, suspension, or permanent termination of your account, and where the law requires it, a report to the relevant authorities.

1. Absolutely prohibited

The following are prohibited without exception. There is no warning and no appeal for a first offence.

• Human trafficking of any kind, including sex trafficking, forced labour, debt bondage, and the recruitment, transport, harbouring or receipt of any person for the purpose of exploitation.
• Sexual exploitation of any person, including coercing, pressuring or deceiving anyone into sexual activity or into producing sexual content.
• Aiding, abetting, facilitating or encouraging abuse, trafficking or exploitation — including advertising, arranging, promoting, funding or providing instructions for it, whether or not the act itself occurs on VyByN.
• Any involvement of a minor. VyByN is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. Child sexual abuse material, the sexualisation of minors, grooming, and any attempt by an adult to contact a minor through VyByN are prohibited and are reported to law enforcement and to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
• Commercial sexual services. Prostitution, escorting, and the solicitation, advertising or arrangement of sexual services for money or anything of value.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery, including sharing or threatening to share intimate images of any person without their consent.
• Sextortion, blackmail or coercion of any kind.

2. Also prohibited

• Harassment, stalking, threats of violence, or targeting anyone with abuse.
• Hate speech, or content attacking people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or age.
• Pornographic or sexually explicit content.
• Impersonating another person, or providing false or misleading information in your profile.
• Romance fraud, financial scams, phishing, or soliciting money, gifts, cryptocurrency or investments from other users.
• Spam, bulk messaging, or promoting external commercial services without our written consent.
• Illegal drugs, weapons, or any other unlawful goods or services.
• Creating multiple accounts, using automated systems or bots, scraping, or attempting to reverse engineer, decompile or interfere with the service.
• Circumventing a ban, suspension or block.

3. Reporting

Every profile, message and group in VyByN can be reported from within the app. Reports involving safety, exploitation or a minor are prioritised above all other moderation work. You can also email support@vybyn.app. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

4. Enforcement

We may remove content, restrict features, suspend or permanently terminate an account, and retain records of a violation for as long as we are legally required or permitted to. Where we are required to report conduct to authorities, we will do so, and we may preserve related data for that purpose. See our law enforcement protocol.
